My name is Sarah Allison and I am a Humanistic, integrative counsellor and supervisor. In broad terms this means I believe in the intrinsic worth of each individual. I value their unique experience of life and how they relate to each other during everyday living, both as a counsellor and supervisor. Sometimes, during periods of distress we run out of ways of coping and can feel lost when faced with uncertainty. I believe I can provide people with a solid foundation on which to build new ways of relating to the world around them. Consequently, anxiety and depression are reduced when change occurs. Optimism and hope form part of my philosophy of life. The following short poem by Grace Nichols (Short And Sweet, 1999) highlights life and renewal.

I have crossed an ocean

a new one has sprung.I am fortunate to have my practice a few minutes walk from the cliffs over looking Trenance Beach in Newquay. There is plenty of on road parking and I am in easy walking distance from Trenance Park, the Zoo and the Train Station.
